The Emily Woods Group officially launched in 2025, but our roots in real estate go much deeper. Our individual journeys in the industry began back in 2014, and over the years we’ve worked alongside a range of teams, brokerages, and mentors. Each experience added a layer of perspective. We saw what works, what doesn’t, and most importantly, what truly serves clients well.

Our team is built on shared values, collective expertise, and a clear vision for the kind of real estate experience we want to create. Over the past few months, we’ve spent a lot of time having intentional conversations about what our clients will need most, and how we can guide them through 2026 and beyond.

More Than a “Salesperson”

Technically speaking, local compliance rules require us to carry the title of “salesperson.” While accurate, it’s never felt like a complete description of how we show up for our clients. Let’s be honest… many people are understandably wary of salespeople. The stereotype often implies pressure, self-interest, and pushing a product regardless of whether it truly benefits the consumer.

That’s simply not who we are.

Early on, we sat down as a team and talked about why each of us chose a profession in real estate. What we discovered was a common thread running through all of our stories: a genuine desire to serve. We wanted careers where our work mattered. Where our compassion, problem-solving skills, and market knowledge could actually change someone’s life. Helping people navigate one of the most personal and financially significant decisions they’ll ever make brings meaning to our work. It’s why we do this.
